Mavic Tech Forum
If you have any technical queries about Mavic products, please post them here
We used to run the bikingbarn website (for those of you that have not come us in the past – we were the primary stockist of Mavic spare parts in the UK) and during those six years we built a strong reputation for product knowledge and customer service.
Whilst we no longer sell the parts, we recognise that there is still a demand for advice, so we hope these forums will facilitate that.
Alternative to Mavic Ksyrium Pro Exalith V2270401 spoke ?
Quote from Pippin Brown on 19 November 2025, 10:54Hi,
My 2016 Ksyrium Pro Exalith SL rear wheel needs a couple of drive side spokes.
I can see from the Mavic Tech Site technicalmanual.mavic.com that the spoke part number is V2270401. However I am struggling to find anywhere that has those in stock, do you know of an alternative ?
thanks
Pip

Thanks for reaching out. So firstly yes you are correct , the original spoke for this wheel was V2270401.
Mavic no longer manufacture that spoke , due to the age of the wheels, however there is an alternative which will work ok.
Spoke V2384801 is same profile (black and bladed), made of same Zicral alloy, same head, same M7 nipple but is 0.5mm shorter. Such a minor (barely measurable) difference in length will not cause an issue. We have supplied these to a variety of bikingbarn customers in the past and they have worked well.
Hope this helps
