We are a couple of ex Bike Shop mechanics based in South Wales.  Back in 2017 working in a local bike shop we realised that getting Mavic parts in the UK was really difficult.

So we setup bikingbarn.co.uk in 2018, imported pretty much every part that Mavic manufactured. Over a period of six years we built a reputation for excellent product knowledge and fantastic customer service.

In 2024 Mavic changed their UK distribution model (using chickencyclekit) and so we realised that the problem we solved in 2018 no longer existed (Mavic parts were easily available in the UK), so we closed bikingbarn.

However what still exists is a need for responsive helpful support to identify Mavic products are required and/or compatible for any Mavic wheel.

So we have setup our Mavic Tech Forum. This allows registered users to share knowledge, and we also aim to answer any queries logged in the forum within one day (Monday to Friday)

We also have some limited stock of Mavic parts, and we will be making  these available for purchase in our shop in the near future.
